By tailoring nursing, social services, and therapeutic everyday activities our clients and residents are able to define what 'living well' means to them. This position is responsible for performing the primary function of a Registered Nurse assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of Our House residents and providing direct care to the residents as well as environmental care of the facility.This is a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) role working at Our House in SE Portland. The schedule for this role is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 6:30am-3:00pm.For Registered Nurse: Starting pay is $47.56 an hour. The Nurse's pay increases with tenure and the top of the pay scale is $49.80. This is a union represented position, so the compensation, benefits and conditions of work are collectively bargained.Who You AreMust have a minimum of one year's work experience as an RN.Unencumbered nursing license in the state of OregonBasic Life Support cardAbility to pass DHS background check. (Potential Disqualifying Conviction List)CPR certified or the ability to become certified within 30 days.Computer proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, EMAR) and working knowledge of the internet.Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues in a professional environment to best serve the needs of the residents.What You'll DoPerforms nursing procedures in accordance with licensure and skill level, utilizing principles of safety and infection control.Ability to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages and diverse populations.Provides assistance with activities of daily living.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detailWorks in collaboration with resident's primary care provider, clinical staff, and support system.Administers and documents medications and treatments using electronic medication administration records.At CAP Northwest, we believe in unlocking potential.
