We are seeking a Python Data Engineer to support a leading financial institution in delivering high-quality data solutions in a hybrid enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, with hands-on experience in Python and SQL. This role is onsite 4 days per week and open to local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Work with relational databases and large-scale datasets to ensure reliable data integration.
• Develop and manage workflows in Microsoft SSIS .
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment practices using GitLab and JIRA .
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in a proactive and timely manner.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Expertise in SQL and relational database systems .
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS for ETL development.
• Experience working in a large enterprise financial environment .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies , GitLab , and JIRA .

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data warehousing concepts or cloud data platforms .
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and testing best practices.
