Outpatient Psychiatrist | Full-Time
Location: Shelton, Connecticut

A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in the Shelton, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join its collaborative and patient-centered behavioral health team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive outpatient setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration and access to system-wide resources.

Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management
• Develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients (child/adolescent interest is a plus, if applicable)
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and care coordination teams
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Optional teaching opportunities, depending on interest

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• Strong clinical, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Open to J1 and H1B visa sponsorship candidates
