Job Description

This entry-level Engineering Administrator role offers a valuable opportunity for a recent biomedical engineering student or current engineering student to gain hands-on experience in data entry, documentation management, quotation preparation, order processing, and customer service within the medical equipment field. You will support day-to-day operations by managing accurate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment, building a strong foundation for your long-term engineering career.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer quotations for medical equipment, repairs, maintenance services, and rentals.
• Enter and manage customer orders accurately within internal systems.
• Review purchase orders and verify pricing, product information, and customer requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment, customer, vendor, and service records.
• Coordinate with sales representatives, service technicians, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Support data entry and documentation management activities to keep records organized and easily accessible.
• Assist with customer service by responding to inquiries and providing status updates on quotes, orders, and services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues related to orders, documentation, and customer requirements.

Essential Skills

• Degree in biomedical engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing purchase orders, pricing, and product information.
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate equipment, customer, vendor, and service records.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with sales representatives, service technicians, and vendors.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of engineering concepts relevant to medical equipment and services.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Recent graduation or near completion of a degree in biomedical engineering or another engineering field.
• Interest in gaining practical experience to build a resume while exploring long-term engineering career opportunities.
• Comfort working in a small, closely knit office environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured manner.

Work Environment

The environment is office-based and focused on administrative and coordination activities related to medical equipment, including data entry, documentation management, and communication with internal and external partners. The setting offers a close-working atmosphere with direct interaction across functions, providing exposure to various aspects of the business. Standard office attire is appropriate for this professional environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Mountain Top, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mountain Top,PA.
