First 90 Days 30 days : Training on products, systems, processes, and organization; shadow a live project; receive on‑the‑job training while managing project phases. 60 days : Assignment of a second new project or taking over 1–2 projects already in progress. 90 days : Ownership of a portfolio of 3–5 projects of varying sizes and scope. Responsibilities Project manager for multiple projects across the country. Accountable for order execution including schedule, financial, and commissioning performance. Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations upon project kickoff. Set firm product release dates and manage expectations. Use COMPAS for configuration changes related to project changes or material additions to orders. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to resolve project issues. Increase business unit margins through positive value adds to change orders, price escalations, and selling extended warranties. Track and update customers on pressing project issues. Track ship shorts. Provide financial invoice summaries and reconciliation support to close out projects at completion of contracted scope of supply. Coordinate deliveries with project site. Serve as escalation point for complex issues and challenges. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations. Apply skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed contract terms. Display a high level of critical thinking to bring successful resolution to high‑impact, complex, and cross‑functional problems. Develop risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned. Comply with Siemens’ policies and procedures. Demonstrate ownership of the project with minimal intervention from sales. Assist and support warranty‑related claims while balancing bottom‑line results and customer experience. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: BA/BS in engineering or business administration. 3+ years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products. Experience with SAP and exposure to Tableau. Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: BS in engineering. Experience working with distributors, contractors (electrical and general), and the construction market. Current PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products. Excellent organizational skills to maintain critical company and customer files, including emails, purchase agreements, contract drawings and specifications, bid proposals, project schedules, meeting minutes, and submittal documents. Proven ability to demonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and leadership skills. Experience with COMPAS. Communication: Effectively and efficiently communicates knowledge across functional areas with internal and external project stakeholders. Resourcefulness: Exhibits creative ways to make things happen with less authority and fewer resources. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
