Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant

Description of Work Employees will perform a variety of duties in the cleaning of all County-owned facilities. Essential functions include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restroom areas and replenishing supplies, cleaning up spills (including bodily fluids), cleaning windows, walls, woodwork, light fixtures and furniture, and emptying trash receptacles and keeping them clean. Duties may also include physically strenuous activities such as moving furniture. Working outside in extreme heat and cold conditions. Responsible for building security and lock-up. Minimum Education and Experience Any combination of experience and training which provides knowledge of cleaning procedures and materials, the ability to follow instructions and the ability to perform light to medium physical work. Special Requirements Valid Driver’s License in the state of North Carolina. Position will remain open until it is filled. Pre‑employment drug testing is required.
