Yard Helper - Waste Collection Facility (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Tuscumbia, AL Pay Rate: $14.00/hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Yard Helper for a waste collection facility in Tuscumbia, AL. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks around the yard including picking up trash or debris, clean up shop and performing general clean-up duties as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas
- Pick up paper, trash, and other debris
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as directed by site supervisor
This position is based at a working waste collection yard. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and around sanitation vehicles. Requirements:
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment
- Willingness to work in a waste collection setting
After 37 days of employment, candidates may be considered for a temporary-to-permanent position. Those under consideration for full-time hire will be required to pass:
- A drug screening
- A criminal background check
