Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Frisco, TX is responsible for coordinating the Clinical Education component of the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Program. The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with faculty, clinical sites, and students to schedule and oversee clinical placements, ensuring that experiences meet program and accreditation standards. Daily responsibilities include maintaining clinical affiliation agreements, monitoring student progress and competencies, and providing guidance and support to students in clinical settings. The role involves regular communication with clinical site supervisors, organizing site visits, and addressing any concerns related to clinical experiences. The Clinical Coordinator also assists with curriculum alignment between classroom and clinical learning, participates in program assessment and accreditation activities, and contributes to program outreach and continuous improvement. Qualifications Clinical expertise in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, including knowledge of imaging procedures, radiation safety, and current industry standards. Experience coordinating or supervising clinical education or clinical rotations in an academic or healthcare setting. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, documentation, and multiple clinical site relationships. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, faculty, and clinical site personnel. Ability to interpret and apply accreditation, regulatory, and institutional policies related to clinical education. Proficiency with office and educational technologies (e.g., learning management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and communication tools). Commitment to inclusive, student-centered education and the ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds. Current certification or registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., NMTCB or ARRT[N]) and relevant state licensure, if applicable. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
