Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.

  • Implementing therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address the mental health conditions presenting in clients.

  • Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect client privacy.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to optimize client outcomes through coordinated care.

  • Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care provided to clients.

  • Providing education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

  • Staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to improve therapeutic techniques and ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client population will encompass individuals facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues. By providing personalized care and tailored therapeutic interventions, you will help clients achieve improved mental health and sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Massachusetts.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate meaningful connections with clients and foster supportive relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities that enable you to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and DBT, are highly desirable. Stone Point Behavioral Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
