Contract Workday Supply Chain Management Functional Lead Location: New York Tri-State Area - Hybrid Contract: August 2026 or early September 2026 through approximately June or July 2027 Hours: Close to full-time, based on project requirements Rate: Flexible based on experience About the Client Our client is a major healthcare organisation progressing through a critical stage of its Workday implementation. They are seeking an experienced Workday Supply Chain Management Functional Lead to independently validate the Workday SCM solution, support testing and provide functional guidance through deployment and hypercare. This is an urgent, long-term contract requiring attendance at the client site in New York approximately once or twice per week. Requirements Strong Workday Supply Chain Management implementation experience Multiple Workday SCM project implementations, ideally including end-to-end delivery Previous healthcare industry experience is essential Broad knowledge of Workday Supply Chain Management configuration and business processes Experience reviewing Workday SCM configuration against design documents and configuration workbooks Ability to independently access and assess a Workday tenant Based in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut, or within reasonable travelling distance of New York Workday certification is preferred, although experienced candidates willing to become certified may be considered Key Duties Validate that Workday Supply Chain Management configuration aligns with approved designs and Workday workbooks Review SCM configuration, business processes, security dependencies and operational workflows Support functional testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing Troubleshoot Workday Supply Chain Management configuration and process issues Support deployment, hypercare and post-production stabilisation activities Work closely with supply chain, procurement, finance, technical and implementation stakeholders Identify gaps between the designed solution and the configuration within the Workday tenant Produce clear documentation and provide knowledge transfer and training Recommend practical Workday SCM improvements while maintaining alignment with the approved design Desired Experience Workday Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Inventory experience Exposure to Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Supplier Accounts and related Workday business processes Previous experience supporting supply chain operations within a hospital, healthcare system or healthcare organisation Experience working in an advisory, implementation or independent validation role Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Former Deloitte consultants are welcome, but current Deloitte employees cannot be considered #J-18808-Ljbffr
