Job Description This role is based in our Boulder office In this role You will drive innovation and maximize sponsorship revenue by creating strategic opportunities that leverage show assets and develop new revenue streams. Acting as a project manager, you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of sponsorship commitments while managing budgets and multiple projects with precision. You will work directly with clients to provide exceptional service, manage expectations, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and client value. Additionally, you will build strong relationships, provide input for RFPs, and ensure professional execution of events. Supervising and mentoring team members, aligning goals with company vision, and understanding key markets like NaturalProducts will be essential to delivering tailored opportunities. Role Accountability and Duties Drive innovation and optimal results in sponsorship revenue Create and implement strategic sponsorship and marketing opportunities that leverage existing show assets while developing new revenue streams for clients. Prioritize optimizing sponsorship offerings, maximizing revenue potential, and measuring client return on investment. Serve as a project manager collaborating with operations, sales, technology, marketing, conference, and additional internal teams to ensure successful delivery of sponsorship and marketing commitments. Require superior attention to detail, organizational excellence, and ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects. Collaborate with vendors to establish competitive pricing for sponsorship assets and deliverables; provide pricing guidance to show teams for accurate positioning and valuation. Experienced in managing $1million+ sponsorship budgets and complex timelines. Deliver consistently high performing products and services Work directly with clients to appropriately manage expectations while providing high customer service to ensure client happiness and encourage future sponsorship sales. Meet defined timelines set out by the Senior Sponsorship Manager and Show Managers, internal teams, vendors, and other show partners to fulfill contracted opportunities on show site. Identify places organically and within existing sponsorship and marketing opportunities to increase show revenue and profit growth, and value for clients. Develop relationships that facilitate achievement of client objectives Develop relationships with internal team, vendors, show partners, and clients that support effective communication and exceptional results. Provide input for RFPs that addresses the unique needs of each event, i.e., costs, market need, program flow, etc. Communicate contract obligations and inclusions to appropriate groups involved. Work as an interface to ensure show is professional and that onsite challenges are invisible to (most) internal and external customers. Participate and demonstrate leadership in an engaged and empowered team Directly supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support to ensure successful execution of responsibilities and professional growth. Collaborate on long- and short-term goals to support company, department, and market vision. Manage communications between operations, sales, and other relevant show teams regarding the fulfillment of sponsorship and marketing opportunities for our clients. Develop an understanding of the markets we serve, specifically Natural Products, and deliver opportunities in line with these communities and client needs. Be an active participant in the Exhibition & Conference industry through continued education, association involvement, and/or community contribution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferably event planning, marketing, hospitality, and/or business) or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2‑5 years of event industry experience. Sponsorship, operations, and/or marketing experience highly preferred. Highly organized, detail oriented and able to execute demanding, simultaneous, multi‑show deliverables in a mutable environment. Requires strong communication skills, professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to work with clients, vendors, and internal team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while delivering accurate and on‑time results. Travel to conferences and tradeshows is approximately 5‑10% of the year.
