Responsibilities Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and upholding customer experience principles; maintain a clean and organized store environment Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back according to procedures Promote credit and loyalty programs Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards Prepare merchandise for the sales floor following procedures and standards Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store overall Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures Support shrink reduction goals and programs Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment Other duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent customer service skills Flexible schedule to support business needs Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multi-task Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation Works effectively with peers and supervisors Retail customer experience preferred Benefits and Employment Details Benefits include: associate discount; EAP; smoking cessation; bereavement; 401(k) associate contributions; child care & cell phone discounts; pet & legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
