Inventory Control Specialist

Overview

Compile and keep records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
Conduct counts of inventory and post totals.
Generate/update reports to track warehouse progress throughout the year.
Verify record computations against physical count of inventory.
Investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE REACH TRUCK

Skills and Experience

High School Diploma/GED
1-2 years of inventory management experience
Familiarity with and ability to utilize a warehouse management system (WMS)
Intermediate skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Excellent communication skills to communicate/respond to management, customers, suppliers, supervisors, and warehouse personnel.
Effectively able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE REACH TRUCK / Stand-Up Forklift
