About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Private Credit Originations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving new investment opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and originating proprietary deal flow. This role is pivotal in the firm's focus on providing bespoke financing solutions to middle-market companies through non-sponsored, special situations, and opportunistic credit investments. Key responsibilities include sourcing and cultivating new investment opportunities, managing a diverse range of relationships, and representing the firm at various industry events. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of intermediaries, advisors, lenders, private equity firms, and company executives, as well as the credit acumen necessary to evaluate and advance transactions. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record and have at least 7 years' of relevant experience in private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, specialty finance, business development, capital solutions, or investment banking. A proven track record in sourcing and originating middle-market lending opportunities is essential, as is an established network of industry professionals. The role requires a strong understanding of credit underwriting, transaction structuring, and risk assessment, as well as the ability to lead the process from origination to closing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship management, communication, and business development skills, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
