MBH Architects is a top-tier firm with a small firm feel. We have offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Denver, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Our staff of over 200 employees work on projects ranging from high-density housing developments to sustainability-focused tech campuses to memorable spaces for brands like Tesla, Target, Invisalign, West Elm, and the world’s top luxury brands. We are seeking a highly organized, versatile person to join our team in Alameda as a Space Planner.
Job Duties
- Create, assemble, and issue client deliverables utilizing CAD, Revit, Cinema 4D, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Enscape or other medium.
- Implement corrections, revisions, red line changes and address comments; assume responsibility for accuracy of work.
- Solve space planning & adjacency requirements.
- Manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Participate in improving production methods.
- Generate plan layouts, storefront elevations & sections.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D renderings.
- Add merchandise to stores based off specific store guidelines.
- Create inventory lists of fixtures, furniture, displays in plan layouts.
- Review survey documents.
- Produce consistent and accurate deliverables across projects.
- Produce technically, functionally, and aesthetically well-designed deliverables that meet quality standards.
- Develop understanding of client expectations.
- Efficiently manage your time on projects and communicate your progress in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ Years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Proficiency in BIM Software – Revit
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to change and juggle various tasks within a timely and expedient manner, paying special attention to accuracy and communication with multiple team members.
