Anesthesiologist

Weatherby is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity. This role involves covering a high volume of cases across various specialties, including OR, OB, and trauma, with a focus on general anesthesia, trauma, and endo. The position offers competitive compensation and includes paid malpractice insurance, along with pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Practice Info

• 1,200 cases per month across OR, OB, and trauma
• 700 trauma cases annually, with the majority being blunt force and agricultural
• 150 cardiac cases with 1 cardiac surgeon
• No pediatrics or transplants

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia
• Manage trauma cases
• Perform endoscopy procedures
• Provide OB anesthesia (preferred)
• Participate in 1:3 weeknights and weekends call, including primary, backup, and 24hr OB
