MRI Technologist

MRI TechUnit notes: We have a client 3T and client 1.5T radiation badge provided by client. Department: MRI Tech. Certifications required: ARRT, BLS. Radius rule: 50 miles and candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles. Contract MR techs need to be MR certified/credentialed. It is also helpful if the applicant also does XR and/or CT as well as MR.Department details: This department has two MRI rooms, four CT rooms, three Xray rooms plus endo, OR, and portables, two Nuc Med rooms plus PET, and three US rooms. Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Yes, CT, XR, OR, endo, and ED. Common types of imaging/studies performed and job duties are varied. Experience or'must have' skills: Xray or CT preferred. EMR &/or PACS: EMR: EPIC, PACS: McKesson. Shifts & scheduling: Varied. Supervisor will make schedule. Weekend requirements: Varied. Holiday requirements: Yes. Call or standby requirement? Yes, varied. How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 1-2 shifts.
