Little Footprints Schoolhouse is seeking a loving, energetic, and proactive Lead Teacher for our two-year-old classroom. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and understands that teaching two-year-olds takes patience, enthusiasm, consistency, and a whole lot of love!
As a Christian-based preschool, we want a teacher who is comfortable helping us create a classroom environment centered around kindness, compassion, respect, gratitude, and Christian values. Our teachers should model these values through the way they speak to, encourage, and care for our children each day.
Our ideal teacher is someone who:
Is energetic and actively engaged with the children abd not someone who simply supervises.
Is proactive and self-motivated, noticing what needs to be done and taking initiative.
Loves creating fun, hands-on learning experiences through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and age-appropriate activities.
Understands the unique needs of two-year-olds, including potty training, developing independence, big emotions, language development, and learning classroom routines.
Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and able to provide loving but consistent boundaries.
Keeps a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom.
Communicates professionally and positively with parents, coworkers, and administration.
Is a team player who is willing to step in and help wherever needed.
Brings a positive attitude and good energy into the classroom each day.
Wants to be part of a preschool family where children are loved, encouraged, prayed for, and given a strong foundation for learning and life.
We aren't simply looking for someone to fill a position, we are looking for a teacher who wants to take ownership of their classroom, build meaningful relationships with their children and staff, and make a difference in their lives abd become a great addition to our already wonderful team.
