Audio Visual Technician

This role involves working with students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, from across all programmes in the School. You will be a key part of our existing Technical Services team. You will oversee the Media Stores Facility and support and advise students and staff in their requests for equipment loans. In addition to that you will be able to deliver support and technical instruction in the use of specialist cameras, audio-visual equipment and facilities. You should be an effective communicator, and innovative, with strong organisational and creative skills. Guiding students to reach their potential will be at the heart of what you do. We are looking for knowledge and experience of industry level equipment. Keeping up to date with technological advances in the area. An aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their projects. To do so, you will be adept at communicating to a diverse range of individuals from varying backgrounds and have specialist knowledge and understanding of race, multiculturalism, and diversity.
