The Outdoor Dust Collector Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating industrial dust collection systems used in a manufacturing facility. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and efficient production environment by preventing dust buildup and maintaining proper airflow and filtration performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor outdoor dust collection equipment and filtration systems.
- Inspect dust collectors, ductwork, filters, fans, and hoppers for proper operation.
- Empty collection bins, drums, or hoppers as required.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on dust collection systems.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow safety procedures related to combustible dust, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements.
- Monitor gauges, airflow readings, and pressure differentials.
- Maintain housekeeping standards around outdoor equipment areas.
- Assist maintenance and production teams as needed.
- Complete inspection logs and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Understanding of industrial safety practices preferred.

Currently looking for a Night shift Dusk Collector for a Manufacturing Company. Experience with Sit-down Forklift. Pay $19. Shift: 7pm- 5:30am- Mon- Thurs with OT on Fridays but schedule will adjust to 7am-7pm M-F
