Join the Mission Market Team as a Barista!

Are you passionate about coffee, community, and creating memorable customer experiences? Mission Market, a cozy café in the heart of downtown Apex, NC, is looking for a dependable and energetic Barista to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love the idea of serving handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh smoothie bowls, and locally sourced treats while giving back to the community, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Barista at Mission Market, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and high-quality offerings to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing coffee, beverages, and food items to our high standards.
- Assisting with daily food prep and kitchen tasks.
- Providing friendly, efficient service to every customer.
- Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Working efficiently during busy morning periods.
- Following food safety and cleanliness procedures.

This is a fast-paced role, especially during our bustling morning hours, so being quick on your feet while maintaining quality is key!

We’re seeking a team member who:
- Has 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, food service, or other fast-paced environment (preferred).
- Is reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Thrives in a fast-paced setting and can stay calm under pressure.
- Has a friendly, positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
- Works well as part of a team and is open to learning and taking direction.
- Is available to work mornings.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs.
