CDL-A Hazmat & Tanker Driver (Fuel/Propane Delivery)

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a local fuel and propane supplier in Sheridan, IL seeking a CDL-A Driver with Tanker and Hazmat to join their team.

Pay: $25 - $28/hour (Based on Experience)

Location: Sheridan, IL

Full-Time Opportunity

Are you an experienced CDL-A driver looking for a stable, year-round opportunity? We are seeking a safety-focused professional with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to deliver fuel and propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout the area.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a CDL-A tanker truck for fuel and propane deliveries
Load and unload fuel products following all DOT and company safety procedures
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
Provide excellent customer service while making deliveries
Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
Work safely in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

Valid CDL-A license
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
Clean driving record preferred
Previous fuel, propane, or liquid tanker experience is a plus
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Ability to lift, pull, and maneuver hoses and equipment
Dependable with excellent attendance and customer service skills
