This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our Infusion and Oncology Clinic located in Austin, TX. Join an established team off 4 physicians and several fellows P ractice setting: outpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Deliver comprehensive clinical assessments for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and biotherapy, actively managing side effects and modifying care plans to ensure safe treatment delivery. Educate new patients and families on chemotherapy and biotherapy regimens, empowering them with a clear understanding of their treatment pathways and symptom management strategies. Lead rapid intervention for urgent clinical findings by serving as the primary point of contact for emergent lab and imaging results from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring swift, critical course corrections. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of oncologists and oncology nurses to proactively prevent, identify, and manage treatment-related complications, optimizing patient outcomes. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: ~ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
