REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator in a sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. independently
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• CNC press brake experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts.
• Read blueprints and verify finished parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate production updates to the next shift or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CNC programming and understanding of blueprint reading with GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed work instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setting machine parameters.
• Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, assembly procedures, and safety protocols related to machining operations.
• Certifications in forklift operation or crane handling are preferred but not mandatory.
