Systems Engineer - Air System Analysis & Verfication - Level 2

Description We are Lockheed Martin . Air System Analysis & Verification Operations team is looking for a Project Engineer (Level 2). Our team is part of the Systems Engineering organization. Air System Analysis & Verification Operations team delivers comprehensive analysis, develops custom tools, plans infrastructure, and provides verification support. The Project Engineer will own the technical integration, schedule coordination, and risk management of subsystem development activities, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives while adhering to DoD and LM standards. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or applicable skill and experience. SECRET security clearance with investigation within the last 5 years. Desired Skills Coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams. Develop, maintain, and track detailed technical schedules. Identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and report status to program leadership. Provide technical data for EVMS, track cost performance, and assist in forecasting to meet budget targets. Work with test engineers to develop verification plans, review test results, and close verification items. Prepare technical briefings, status reports, and presentations. Develop business operation capabilities and tools to support project and product development. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. Onsite Full‑time: The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
