The LPN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization.Job Description**Job Duties:*** Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.* Set-up for various procedures and assists the physician or provider in treatments such as surgical procedures, pelvic exams, and other medical modalities.* Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.* Correctly collects and accurately labels specimens when doing venipuncture and other specimen collections.* Gives routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider, as appropriate with level of training and/or certification.* Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.* Introduces him/herself to the patient.* Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.* Telephones/faxes prescriptions under the direction of a physician or provider.* Assists in emergency situations under the direction of the physician or provider.* Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.**Minimum Requirements:*** Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification or registry.* Current LPN license* Current CPR certification.**Hours:** Full Time / 40 hours per week**Benefit Summary:**Join our team, and you’ll have access to a cutting-edge facility with state-of-the-art technology.
