TREATMENT CENTER COORDINATOR, School of Dental Medicine, Periodontology Location: Boston, MA Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Salary Grade: $20.00-$32.00 Job Description The Treatment Center Coordinator is responsible to assist the Treatment Center Manager and Clinical Program Director with treatment center department activities to ensure efficient treatment center operation. Assist the Treatment Center Manager with addressing patient concerns related to treatment, finances, insurance, and billing errors/disputes. Answer general billing questions, make appointments, reschedule appointments, manage and schedule special patients in Salud and special appointments (surgeries, implants), coordinate emergency patients, and send return-to-treatment/missed appointments communications to patients. Review and edit the treatment center schedule in Salud, ensuring to fill schedules with the department cancellation list and/or recall list. Process internal and external referrals, including corresponding with GSDM internal treatment centers regarding the referrals. Coordinate insurance eligibility with front desk patient coordinators and administer insurance procedures for prior authorizations. Qualifications High School Diploma required; degree preferred. 3–5 years of equivalent experience in a similar role required. Demonstrated strong problem solving and time management skills required. Prior experience in healthcare in private practice office, hospital, clinic, or dental practice preferred.
