Custodian 1st Shift

Location: Hillcrest High School

Reports To: Building Manager/Chief

General Duties:

Completes all tasks/details and specific duties in a timely fashion.
All tasks must be completed to a standard determined by the Building Manager/Chief.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Building Manager/Chief, Associate Principal and Night Supervisor.

Specific Duties:

Clean windows and door glass
Main NW Caf Daily Clean caf water fountain and caf doors Daily
Deliver clean towels to Nurse's office Daily
Take clean towels to P.E., pool and Athletic Department Daily
Retrieve dirty P.E. and swim suits to wash 3 times a day
Wash and dry cleaning rags Daily
Deliver clean P.E. and swim suits 2 times a day
Keep laundry area clean. Includes machines and floor Daily
Deliver packages from Ad Center to various departments Daily
Deliver mail to Main Office Daily
Sign for and deliver all incoming packages to departments Daily
Deliver requested papers to departments When needed
Clean all washrooms 5 times a day
Check all girls' washrooms clean as needed includes girls West P.E. Dailly
Clean up spills and vomit Daily
Clean teacher's caf after last lunch Daily
Walk thru girls P.E. locker room, vandalism check a.m. and p.m. report any to Chief Daily
Wash blankets for the Nurse Every Friday
Fill all Kotex machines Every Monday
Assist any activity setups that may occur during the day
Check all halls for cleanliness. (A minimum of 4 times per shift, twice in a.m. and twice in p.m.). Clean as needed. Includes water fountains every hour from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Daily
Clean IMC and IMC hallway Daily
Clean boiler room tables and microwave Daily

Terms Of Employment:

Twelve-month work year.
Salary and fringe benefits to be established by the Board of Education.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Educational Support Personnel.
