As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site requirements. Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
