We’re hiring an experienced **Med-Surg RN** for a travel assignment in beautiful Maine!

**Requirements:**
• Active **Maine RN License or Compact RN License**
• Minimum **3 year of Med-Surg RN experience**
• Current **BLS Certification**
• ACLS preferred
• BSN preferred
• Strong nursing assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must meet all required immunization/credentialing requirements

**Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM**
• **36 guaranteed hours/week**
• No holiday coverage required
• No 1099 — **W-2 employment only**
• Facility may cancel up to **3 shifts during the 12-week period**
• On-call: $6/hr pager
• EMR: Facility system

**Responsibilities:**
• Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Administer medications using the “five rights” and evaluate patient response
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and discharge planning
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe patient-care environment
• Respond appropriately during emergency and disaster situations
