ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a Production Supervisor to join our team in South Bend, IN!

This position is responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure all products are manufactured in the required quantities and meet ITU AbsorbTech’s quality standards while operating within budget guidelines. The role is also responsible for the training, supervision, coaching, and performance management of production employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee daily production operations to meet quality, delivery, and budget goals.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on equipment, safety, and ISO standards.
• Partner with maintenance to maintain safe and efficient equipment operations.
• Monitor compliance with environmental, safety, and company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve performance goals.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication with employees, leadership, and other departments.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Review operational and financial performance reports to support production goals.

Schedule: This position primarily works on 1st shift , Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. There may be occasional shift changes to 2nd and 3rd shift, depending on business needs.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma with 4-6 years of relevant experience required.
• Previous experience in supervision and product specific knowledge is preferred.
• Must possess strong leadership skills and organizational skills.
