Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and disposition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
• Rotate weekend and holiday shifts on an every-other basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a high-volume or Level II/III Emergency Department
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in emergent situations
