Location: No local candidates within 50 miles
Schedule: 7p–7a, varied schedule
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care RN (PCU RN) to join our team for a 13‑week travel assignment. The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently in an acute care environment, and experience caring for high‑acuity PCU patients.

This role is part of the 648A Pulmonary Thoracic Unit , providing specialized care for patients with pulmonary conditions, thoracic surgeries, and complex respiratory needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU, Step‑down, ICU, or similar high‑acuity specialty.
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Must be comfortable working with pulmonary & thoracic patient populations.
• No local candidates within 50 miles .

Preferred Experience

• Intermediate‑level experience in Step‑down or ICU strongly preferred.
• Strong acute care background—highly competent acute nurses will be considered.

Shift & Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Varied schedule
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation may be required.
