Injection Mold Support Technician

Job Description

Make Every Changeover Seamless

When the line starts at 6:00 AM, you’re already a step ahead—molds are clean, organized, and staged for fast changeovers. You collaborate with Set-up Techs, Maintenance, and Production so nothing slows the run. Your work keeps uptime high and scrap low.

Schedule

12-hour days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
C Shift (2-2-3 pattern)
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

What Your Day Looks Like

Clean molds after production runs and before storage so they’re ready for the next setup.
Remove resin, debris, and other contaminants using approved methods and tools.
Keep the mold room in order—label, store, and track mold locations and inventory accurately.
Transport molds to and from production safely using the proper equipment.
Inspect for visible wear or damage and immediately communicate issues to supervisors or maintenance.
Prep molds and related gear to support rapid, reliable changeovers.
Maintain a spotless, organized workspace that meets 5S standards.
Follow lockout/tagout and safe material handling every time.
Pitch in with basic support tasks for setup and maintenance teams.
Manage cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment so nothing stalls the shift.

Physical Requirements

Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 12-hour shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
