JANITOR (FULL TIME)

Janitor – Full Time We are hiring immediately for full‑time janitor positions at SSC Services for Education, a division of Compass Group. This role involves maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities for students and staff. Location: TAMU Tarleton Jn – 503 North Neblett Avenue, Stephenville, TX 76401. Openings at other locations within the school district are available. Schedule: Full‑time Monday‑Friday shifts: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Flexible scheduling to meet most needs. Pay: $11.00 to $14.50 per hour. Requirements: Prior janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and mop floors, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure. Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to correct placement. Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet. Work as part of a team, exhibiting professionalism with customers, employees, and others. Perform other duties as assigned.
