Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite | Projected Start: November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular OR setting, supporting cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases
• Work within a 2-bed OR suite maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio with an adult patient population
• Operate and assist with advanced equipment including ECMO, Impella, Maze, and IABP
• Participate in on-call rotation, which may include 12–15 on-call days with 1–2 weekends depending on schedule rotation, including holidays
• Float to vascular, thoracic, and TACS cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Document accurately using Epic EMR (required), Workday, and ShiftWizard

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Virginia State License or Compact License required
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2+ years of Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) RN experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with cardiac surgery cases strongly preferred
• Familiarity with vascular and thoracic surgical settings
