Responsibilities Deliver pizza, beverages, and promotional materials directly to customers. Drive safely to the store and customer locations while following all traffic laws. Navigate to addresses using maps or GPS and handle multi‑story buildings and private homes. Provide accurate monetary change and accept payments. Take, enter, and process orders via phone or hand‑held computer. Carry and load pizza trays up to 12 lb per tray and pizza sauce up to 30 lb. Use dollies to push or pull trays of pizza dough and other supplies. Maintain clean vehicle and short‑term storage of ingredients. Requirements Minimum age 18 years and hold a valid driver’s license. Clean safe‑driving record meeting company standards. Insured vehicle available for delivery work. Proficient in map reading and navigation. Good verbal and written communication skills with customers and teammates. Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch‑screen to enter orders. Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and walk as described below. Physical Demands Lifting: up to 50 lb cases of ingredients or supplies. Carrying: up to 12 lb pizza trays and 30 lb pizza sauce. Walking and standing: considerable amount during shift. Pushing/pulling trays with dollies up to 7.5 lb force. Climbing: up to five flights of stairs during delivery. Driving: multiple deliveries per shift. Working Conditions Exposure to varying outdoor weather, extreme indoor temperatures (36 – 90 °F), fumes, dust, and cramped quarters. Work may involve hot surfaces and moving mechanical parts. Advancement Drivers may progress to management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate operations roles.
