JOB TITLE: Chemical Operator
JOB LOCATION: North Chicago, IL
JOB TYPE: Temp to Hire
PAY: $18-$20/Hr.
1ST SHIFT:
9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
**Multiple Positions** About the Chemical Operator Role: • Operate a forklift
• Label and fill drums
• Use a wide variety of pumps and hoses to fill tanks and tank trucks
• Correctly fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists
• Keep work areas clean and neat
• Follow all safety policies
• Execution of activities as assigned
• Responsibilities involving food safety, when required Qualification Requirements: • Read and write English
• Have basic math capabilities
• Feel comfortable working around chemicals
• Must be able to pass a background check Special Circumstances: • Must be able to work overtime, as needed
• Must be able to wear safety equipment (i.e., respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots/shoes)
• May be required to work outdoors
