Take the next step in your school psychology career with this contract opportunity supporting K-12 students near Canutillo, TX for the full 2026/2027 school year. In this full-time role, you'll work 30 hours weekly from July 13, 2026, to December 18, 2026—with a strong potential for extension. Your expertise will help conduct comprehensive evaluations, testing, counseling as needed, participation in IEP meetings, and contribute to the overall success and wellbeing of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) certification is required
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work across a diverse caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational evaluations for K-12 students
- Provide direct and indirect services including counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultation
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and participate in related meetings
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation according to district, state, and federal requirements
- Communicate findings effectively with parents, teachers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams
