Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Conduct vehicle walkarounds and product demonstrations
• Complete test drives
• Follow up with internet, phone, and showroom leads
• Maintain CRM activities and customer communications
• Work with the finance and management teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Consistently achieve individual sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
• Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager as well as regularly scheduled sales meetings.
• Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
• Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.).
• Turns 100 percent of closed deals to aftermarket for the up sell opportunity.
• Processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
• Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
• Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
• Follows up on all post delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
• Maintains positive attitude. Strives for harmony and teamwork with all other departments while having fun.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience welcomed
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work Saturdays
