Job Summary

As a Security Account Manager, you will be responsible for new business development and account growth within the greater Houston area. You will sell a full portfolio of building technology solutions, focusing on power and cooling, building automation, smart buildings, data center infrastructure, physical security, and AV solutions using a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship building
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling technology solutions
• Sell power and cooling solutions, building automation systems, smart building technologies, and related IT infrastructure
• Own the entire sales cycle from discovery through close
• Conduct customer discovery to understand business needs and technical requirements
• Present and demonstrate integrated building technology solutions to multiple stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering, sales operations, and vendor partners
• Develop territory, account, and business plans to drive revenue
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM tools
• Participate in ongoing training related to smart buildings, automation platforms, and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales or business development experience
• Experience selling or supporting:
  • Building technology solutions
  • Power and cooling systems
  • Building automation or smart buildings
  • Data center, security, AV, or low-voltage technologies (preferred)
• Strong consultative and solution-based sales skills
• Ability to understand and communicate the business value of technology
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical teams
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in smart building ecosystems or BAS platforms
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, physical security, or AV solutions
• Background in highly competitive environments
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
