Aladdin’s Cleaning and Restoration has been serving the Lapeer, Michigan area for more than 33 years, helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, storm, mold and other property damage. We have the reputation, experience, team and service capability in place. Now, we’re looking for the right outside sales representative to help us grow.

This is a field-based relationship-building role for someone who enjoys getting out into the market, meeting people face-to-face, creating new referral relationships, and turning trust into opportunity. The right person will represent Aladdin’s with professionalism, consistency and follow-through while building relationships with insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, contractors, commercial property owners and other referral sources.

Responsibilities

This field-based sales role requires significant time in the market making face-to-face visits, building referral relationships, following up consistently, documenting activity in the CRM, and creating new opportunities for the company. Key responsibilities to include:

• Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase revenue and market share.

• Develop new referral relationships with insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, contractors, commercial facility managers and other potential referral partners.

• Build and maintain those relationships through consistent outreach, problem-solving and attention to customer service.

• Generate qualified leads for fire, water, mold, storm, bio cleanup, and other property damage restoration projects.

• Conduct regular sales calls, networking events, lunch-and-learns, and community outreach activities.

• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and local business organizations and events.

• Track sales activities, referrals, and opportunities using the company’s CRM system.

• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure outstanding customer service and client satisfaction.

• Follow up with customers and/or referral partners after projects are completed to strengthen long-term relationships.

• Monitor local market trends, competitors, and emerging business opportunities.

• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Requirements

• Bring at least two years of outside sales and business development experience; experience in restoration/mitigation, insurance, construction, or a related field is preferred.

• Be comfortable making in-person sales calls, asking for opportunities, handling rejection professionally, following up consistently, and meeting sales activity goals.

• Have strong knowledge of fire and water damage restoration, insurance claims, and disaster recovery services.

• Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain long-term business relationships.

• Possess strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Stay highly organized and manage priorities effectively.

• Work independently with self-motivation and accountability.

• Hold a valid driver’s license.

• Use Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software proficiently.

• A preference for those with:

o Existing relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, plumbers, contractors, and commercial facility managers.

o Experience selling restoration/mitigation or emergency response services.

o Familiarity with insurance claims processes and catastrophe response.
