About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its Finance and Accounting Division. The CFO will be instrumental in the company's growth strategy, with a focus on increasing assets under management. This role is pivotal in the mission-driven, fast-paced, and collaborative environment of the firm, which is currently involved in multiple real estate projects and is in an acquisitive phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial and accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, payroll, budgeting, cash flow, investments, and financial planning. Experience with LIHTC, particularly Section 42 compliance, is strongly preferred. As the CFO, the core responsibilities will include creating and maintaining financial strategies, procedures, and policies to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and growth. The role also involves risk management, overseeing lender activities, and optimizing the company's various revenue streams. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors, providing forward-looking insights, and developing and monitoring key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, with the ability to manage and improve financial systems, processes, and outcomes, and will be adept at using predictive models and financial analyses to support the organization's business plans.
