Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you’ll implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises and mobility training, and monitor patient progress. You will document care accurately, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team. This role requires strong communication, clinical skills, safety awareness, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
