Company Overview We are a high‑volume sports bar and grill, a neighborhood favorite for families and individuals to celebrate a special occasion, catch the big game or just to have lunch or dinner. With over 100 TVs showing all sporting events, there is never a dull moment in our bar. Job Summary The Food Runner is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. This person maintains the cleanliness of the expo line, organizes order tickets, communicates effectively with the BOH team, and handles the initial expediting of carryout orders. Responsibilities Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus, including carryout and catering menus Assure guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food Ensure guest has proper silverware, napkin, and share plates when delivering food Keep kitchen station clean and organized Polish and stock utensils and steak knives Assist all servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying of plates Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and co‑workers Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies) Perform calmly and effectively under stressful conditions Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co‑workers Qualifications Previous restaurant experience preferred Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently Benefits/Perks Same/Next-Day Pay An extensive and well‑rounded training program Continued career development and growth opportunities 401K Medical, dental, and vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Art & Jake's Sports Bar
