About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, with a focus on leading the business to a new level of financial reporting and analysis. This role is pivotal in the company's growth and evolution, particularly in the fast-moving and complex cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for organization and team leadership, FP&A, business partnership, treasury and capital management, M&A, financial operations, and reporting. They must have a strong background in senior finance and accounting leadership, with a preference for those with experience in highly regulated sectors such as cannabis or CPG. Key responsibilities for the CFO include investing in and developing the finance and accounting team, owning the operating model, budget, and forecasting, and proactively driving the capital strategy. The role also involves spearheading financial due diligence for M&A opportunities, managing the monthly close and reporting cadence, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a multi-entity, multi-market operational environment, and experience with private equity. They should be adept at leveraging AI and business intelligence tools to enhance the finance function and have exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, with a CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
