Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Location: Trinity Health Livonia Hospital, Livonia, Michigan. Unit Overview This 9-bed Stepdown Unit provides critical care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, septic shock, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and NSTEMI. Nurses in this unit deliver exceptional care while bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical‑surgical settings. Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
