Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Level III Trauma Center emergency department. Deliver compassionate patient support while efficiently managing acute medical conditions during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess, prioritize, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and thoroughly within Epic EMR.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 3 ED assignments or 3 years of recent, relevant ED experience.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Optional: TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
