Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, lobbies, data-related areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in a technology-focused location, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting unauthorized or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with incident reporting, basic access control tasks, and communication with site contacts during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
