responsibilities:

• Develop complete discipline estimates and quantity takeoffs for medium-complexity projects using industry standard guidelines and estimating software.

• Analyze proposal specifications, engineering drawings, and project documents to define scope of work, WBS structures, and bidding requirements.

• Calculate complete takeoffs across material, labor, and equipment, applying standard markup, contingency percentages, and industry cost database metrics.

• Interface directly with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide vital cost and technical data regarding project feasibility.

• Maintain organized working back-up files for estimate figures to continuously support senior estimators and update organizational cost databases.
